Business Cards FAQs

What bleed and safe area do you need?

For a 90×55mm card, supply artwork at 96×61mm — finished size plus 3mm bleed on every edge. Keep text and logos at least 3–4mm inside the trim so nothing is cut off.

What file formats do you accept?

A print-ready PDF is best (fonts embedded or outlined, CMYK, 300dpi). High-res JPG, PNG, TIFF or packaged AI/INDD also work.

How do I set up a double-sided card?

Send one PDF with two pages — page 1 is the front, page 2 the back — both at 96×61mm with bleed and the same orientation.

What is the minimum order?

Just 50 cards. Digital printing makes short runs affordable, so there is no need to order thousands.

What finishes can I choose?

350gsm or 400gsm silk, matte laminate, or our premium soft-touch matte. Rounded corners optional. We do not offer foil, spot UV or embossing.

Can you design the card for me?

Yes. Send your logo and details and we will lay it out and email a proof to approve before printing.

Will the colours match my screen?

We print in CMYK; screens are RGB and look brighter, so vivid colours can shift slightly. Design in CMYK for predictable results and ask for a printed proof if brand colour is critical.

What is the turnaround?

Standard cards are 3–5 working days from artwork approval. Laminated, soft-touch and rounded-corner jobs add about a day for finishing. Couriered NZ-wide.
