Postcards FAQs

What sizes do you offer and how do I set up bleed?

A6 (148×105mm), DL (210×99mm), A5 (210×148mm) and Square (148×148mm). Add 3mm bleed on every edge and keep important text 4–5mm inside the trim.

What file format do you need?

A print-ready PDF in CMYK at 300dpi with 3mm bleed. We also accept high-res JPG, TIFF or EPS.

Single or double-sided?

Single-sided prints the front only (back left blank — no pre-printed address grid). Double-sided prints both sides full-colour — best for promos and mail-outs.

What card stock should I choose?

350gsm is our standard postcard weight, in satin (coated, vivid colour) or uncoated (easier to handwrite on).

Can I have rounded corners or lamination?

Yes — 3mm or 5mm rounded corners and matte/gloss lamination are available as add-ons; just ask and we'll quote the small extra. Lamination adds about a day.

What is the minimum order?

50 cards, then 100/250/500/1000/2500 — the more you print, the lower the per-card price.

How fast is turnaround?

Standard 2–3 working days from artwork approval. Lamination or rounded corners add a day. Printed in-house in Mount Maunganui.

I want to mail these — how do I set up the back?

Choose double-sided and leave a clear area on the right of the back for the address and stamp; keep that zone free of dark backgrounds. Ask us for a back template.
